The underlying theme of FN EA Tool Kit is 'full engagement' in any EA process relevant to your community/First Nation.
Effective participation in an established EA process is one way that your First Nation can influence the EA process and outcome.
Our training & capacity building will focus on understanding the EA process & legislation,
participating actively and suggest that FN ought to have effective strategies.
By doing these key things your First Nation is more likely to accurately
represent your First Nation’s interests. Interests must be clearly articulated
and documented within the process so that decison makers are aware of
your First Nations aboriginal rights and title (interest in land).
