FNEATWG (affectionately known as fin-ee-a-twig) is a multi-disiplinary group of First Nation, provincial and federal government environmental assessment practitioners. Forum Objectives


  • To have First Nations, Industry and Government share their expectations about interactions with each other within the context of EA.


  • To allow for First Nations to communicate with Industry and Government about what works and what does not work when trying to build a healthy relationship during an EA and allow Industry and Government to share the same information with First Nations.


  • To have First Nations and Government/Industry discuss ways to advance relationship building strategies that work well for all parties and problem-solve how to improve in areas that are not working for all parties.
